The Writers Corner has been a water cooler for authors since July 2018. The show is broadcast live so readers are able to engage with the authors in real time. The weekly talk show is 30 minutes long and give you some insight into the author’s journey and/or details about the book you would otherwise not have known. It is a family friendly show and authors range from New York Times Best Selling Authors to debut authors.
Author, Voice Over Artist and Host of "Authors on The Air" Terry Shepherd talks about touring South America in a rock band as a teen, playing a stadium of 15,000 people, seeing what life is like outside of the comforts of the US and his book series The Jessica Ramirez Thrillers and their inspiration as well as his children's books "Students in Time" and "Juliette and The Mystery Bug" series both inspired by his grandchildren.
Author, Music Producer and Billboard Chart Topping Musician Jackiem Joyner talks about how he was forced to switch to a new instrument after playing drums for a few years, how the sax called to him and one of the coolest moment's he's had as a musician. Joyner also talks about his two incredibly imaginative books.
After about a year of struggling with the title, my colleague Stacy Dymalski (www.thememoirmidwife.com) suggested I change the title. My entire body went tense at this suggestion. I had the title before I even had the story, and the title was why the show was so successful (at least that’s what I believed).
